BEFORE YOUR FIRST COURSE
Your questions.
Clear answers.
How the products work, what to expect and how the Starter Kit guarantee works.
What exactly do I get back?
The full price of the Starter Kit, to the card you paid with. Return shipping for the kit is the only cost on you.
What if I miss a day of the course?
Fine. The guarantee asks for twelve sessions within twenty days, so there is room for a busy week.
How do you know I did the course?
A timestamped photo against the shade card before every session, plus the used gel pens in the return. Fair for both sides.
Does it apply to strips and the pen?
The photo-verified money-back guarantee covers the Starter Kit. Strips and pen carry the standard right of withdrawal.
Does whitening hurt?
The sting most people associate with whitening comes from peroxide, and there is none in our gel. Sensitive teeth may still notice the course; pause a day and continue.
How many people actually claim the guarantee?
2.4% of kit customers. We publish that number because a guarantee nobody can check is just marketing.
Isn't PAP in every whitening kit now?
It is in a lot of them, and that is exactly the problem. PAP is an ingredient, not a dose. Almost nobody prints theirs.
In an independent laboratory study, 12 % PAP moved the whiteness index 8.82, more than the peroxide gels dentists use (a lab study on extracted teeth, testing another maker’s 12 % gel, not ours). In a separate 2026 study, a PAP+ kit whose label does not state its strength produced no significant whitening, even used for twice as long as its instructions say. Same ingredient on the label, different outcome on the tooth.
Ours is 12 %, and it is printed on this page, because a percentage you cannot read is a percentage you cannot judge. The study, including what goes against us →
How fast will I see something?
Most people see a difference within the first few sessions, but the number that counts is day twelve, because that is the one the guarantee reads.
Does the LED light actually do anything?
The light is inspired by violet-LED research: a 12-month randomised clinical study (Lopes et al., Frontiers in Dental Medicine, 2024) found violet LED light (405-410 nm) alone whitened teeth with minimal sensitivity, and did even better combined with bleaching.
The honest part: that study tested other equipment, and we have not published our own tray's wavelength. What it certainly does is hold the gel in place for a fixed ten minutes, and contact time does matter.
Can I use it with fillings or crowns?
Safe to use, but whitening only works on natural enamel. Visible work at the front? Ask your dentist about the order to do things in.
The Reddit questions,
answered.
The objections that come up most in whitening threads, answered without hype. Some of them are fair. We say so.
“PAP doesn’t really whiten. Only peroxide does.”
Wrong. In a 2026 peer-reviewed study, a 12 % PAP gel scored almost twice the whitening of the dentist-strength peroxides it was tested against: whiteness index 8.82 for 12 % PAP, 4.48 for 37.5 % hydrogen peroxide and 4.16 for 35 % carbamide peroxide. Our gel is 12 % PAP, stated on this page, with zero hydrogen or carbamide peroxide. Llena et al., J Funct Biomater, 2026 →
A lab study on extracted teeth that tested another manufacturer’s 12 % PAP gel, not ours.
“Proper whitening is banned in the EU, so these kits are weak.”
The EU caps over-the-counter products at 0.1 % hydrogen peroxide; anything stronger has to go through a dentist. So every legal at-home kit in Europe needs something other than peroxide to do the work. That is why we built ours around PAP instead of a watered-down peroxide.
“The LED light is a gimmick.”
Wrong. And there is peer-reviewed research to show it. In a 12-month randomised clinical trial, violet LED light (around 405 nm) whitened teeth on its own, with the change still measurable a year later. Paired with a whitening gel, the effect roughly doubled. That is why our routine pairs the two. Lopes et al., Frontiers in Dental Medicine, 2024 →
The trial used clinical violet LEDs, not our tray. Light only does its job at the right wavelength, which is why cheap blue lights earn the gimmick label.
“Whitening wrecks your enamel and makes teeth hurt.”
The sharp zing people describe is typical of peroxide. PAP is the gentler route, and the gel also carries hydroxyapatite, the mineral enamel is mostly made of. If your teeth are already sensitive you may still feel something: skip a day.
“It won’t work on my crowns or fillings.”
Correct, and we will not pretend otherwise. Crowns, veneers and fillings keep their colour. If you have visible work on your front teeth, talk to your dentist first so nothing ends up mismatched.
“It all fades in a few weeks anyway.”
Surface stains come back if the coffee does. That is normal for every whitening method, including the dentist’s chair. Run the kit, then top up with the pen when stains creep back, instead of starting over.
“The before-and-afters are fake.”
Ours are unretouched phone photos, each one named and marked as customer or creator. Run your own test: one photo in daylight on day one, one after the course, same window, same time of day.
“Just go to a dentist.”
If you want several shades of change deep inside the tooth, yes, book one. If you want coffee and wine stains gone at home and without peroxide, that is the job this kit was built for.
